07/2019 - Ju Won, Ezgi and Byoung Uk's work on nonlinear pn-chip compression systems is selected for as a postdeadline presentation at the OSA Nonlinear Optics conference in Hawaii. The group (Ju Won, Byoung Uk and Peng Xing) presents a total of four papers at the conference.
07/2019 - Byoung Uk's paper entitled, "Optical nonlinearities in ultra-silicon-rich nitride characterized using z-scan measurements," is published in Scientific Reports. The work establishes the two-photon band edge of USRN to reside at 1.2um.
